History

Rodimax is a subsidiary of Groupe Rodican, Inc., a family held company founded in 1962 by Rocco Di Zazzo. Rodimax prides itself on the numerous achievements of its founder who, with the help of his multidisciplinary team has built apartment buildings, centres for the elderly, condominiums and housing developments. The experience and unique know-how makes Rodimax a key player in economic development in the region.

A flourishing business from its inception, Rodimax was singled out in 1969 when its founder became one of the first entrepreneurs in Montreal to build low-cost, soundproof and fireproof apartment buildings using "Spancrete", a new concept in prefabricated reinforced concrete.

To this day, the Nouveau Saint-Laurent has a total of 2110 housing units including 728 houses, 602 townhouses, 34 semi-detached houses and 746 condominiums spread over a hundred hectares.

The Challenger Ouest is the last phase of this project and involves the building of 1,473 housing units, divided into individual houses, townhouses and condominiums, which will ultimately add nearly half a billion dollars in real estate value to the sector.

Rodimax is a story of family, respect, passion and ambition!
